Product Description
The Apex HSR Pro consists of 3 individual 24” x 24” x 2” cushions and a 4-channel controller. The cushions connect together with straps to form a full-body mat, while each cushion’s cable securely connects to a channel on the controller.
The extra channel on the Apex HSR Pro controller allows you to connect an additional attachment, such as an extra cushion or ring attachment.
The controller sends signals to the cushions and powers the device. Its intuitive 7-inch touchscreen interface allows you to select your desired program, create new custom programs, adjust power levels, and more.

Add Far Infrared (FIR) for a More Soothing Session
Add Far Infrared (FIR) to your Apex HSR Pro for a warm, relaxing experience during your PEMF sessions. The FIR system is integrated directly into the cushions, allowing you to enjoy gentle infrared warmth while using your PEMF system. FIR has been studied for its effects on circulation, including increased blood flow and vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels).

Here are the available attachments for the Apex HSR Pro controller. Please note that all attachments require an Apex HSR or Apex HSR Pro controller to operate and cannot be used on their own.
Ring Attachment
The 14″ × 18″ Ring Attachment is designed for localized, higher-power PEMF therapy (48 gauss). Hold the ring over a specific area of the body for localized use, or wrap it around a limb or the neck. Magnetic fields from the ring attachment and full body mats can interfere with each other, so we don’t recommend using both at the same time. The ring attachment requires 1 channel.
Mini Mat
The Mini Mat is a smaller, more portable option for convenient PEMF sessions. Each Mini Mat contains 2 cushions and requires 2 channels on the controller. With the Apex HSR Pro’s 4 channels, a Mini Mat can be used while leaving room for 2 additional attachments.
Cushion Attachment (Extra Cushion)
The Cushion Attachment adds another cushion to your system for greater flexibility. It can provide full-body coverage for taller users, be placed on top of the body to create a Helmholtz Effect and increase field strength between the cushions, or allow two people to use two cushions each at the same time.
Full Body PEMF Therapy vs. Local Application
The Apex HSR Pro full-body mat is designed to provide broad-spectrum PEMF stimulation across the entire body. Research on PEMF has explored a wide range of potential health benefits, including circulation, bone and tissue health, pain relief, and recovery. The full-body mat is designed for regular sessions that provide this broad-spectrum stimulation throughout the body.
The Ring Attachment is designed for localized PEMF therapy when you want to focus stimulation on a specific area. It delivers higher-power PEMF directly to the area you are targeting and can be held over or wrapped around an area of the body. The ring is intended for localized use separately from full-body PEMF sessions.
Should I Get the Apex HSR or the Apex HSR Pro?
Both the Apex HSR and Apex HSR Pro offer the same frequency ranges, slew rate, gauss, and body coverage per cushion. Which one you buy should depend on the intended use. Here are three main questions to help you decide whether the Apex HSR or Apex HSR Pro is the right choice for you:
1) Is the mat for home use or commercial use?
We always recommend the Apex HSR Pro for clinics, wellness centers, gyms, spas, and other commercial settings because it gives you greater flexibility. The Pro has 4 channels, allowing you to connect up to 4 cushions or other single-channel attachments at the same time. This gives businesses more ways to configure the system for different customers, including taller individuals who may need an additional cushion for full-body coverage.
The Apex HSR Pro also gives businesses:
- 7″ touchscreen: A larger, easier-to-use interface.
- 5 custom protocols: More flexibility when creating programs for customers.
- Far Infrared (FIR) option: An additional feature that can be offered as part of a session.
2) Will multiple people use the device at the same time?
The Apex HSR Pro has 4 channels, giving you more flexibility to connect multiple cushions and attachments at the same time. This makes it possible for multiple people to use the system simultaneously, depending on the configuration.
For example, one person could use the Ring Attachment as a local applicator to focus on an area such as the knee or back, while another person uses the full-body mat for broad-spectrum PEMF stimulation.
3) Will an individual taller than 6’ be using the mat?
For full-body PEMF therapy, we recommend that the mat cover your entire body. If someone taller than 6′ will regularly be using the mat, we recommend the Apex HSR Pro with an additional Cushion Attachment. The Pro has 4 channels, allowing you to add the extra cushion needed for full-body coverage.
If the answer to all three questions is “no,” then the Apex HSR may be sufficient for your needs.
